QQ is most popular in China. Although QQ software is the world’s most widely used internet chat clients, most people outside of china have no idea what is it. In China QQ could be a car, a tea, a milk, an IM software even a word which is mean cool. QQ is a culture in China. QQ software isn’t very good, but almost everybody use it in China. MSN seems better than QQ for business, so the some Chinese use it for business. But they also maintain QQ accounts as well. Because QQ seems everybody else in China have QQ account.

First of all what is QQ? The title didn’t tell me what is QQ. We should figure out what is QQ first? Then we can understand what the title mean. QQ is a Immediate message software ,just as msn ,with QQ ,you can chat online , see the person you chat through the video telephone ,send the document point-to-point even break point to continue ,share file, it also have many other functions, such as the network hard disk, the kneading board, and the QQ mailbox. Connected with the cellular phones terminal. You may use QQ conveniently, practical, highly effective to contact with the friend.
- 2. Who is the paper written by and do they seem credible to you?
This paper written by Benjamin Ross who’s I even knew. It seems credible to me. I found out form Wikipedia: “The original name of QQ was OICQ”. That’s what the author written. And I found out Skype is not popular in China. The most popular is QQ and Msn. QQ is popular on campus while Msn is popular among people who are at office. It is totally same.

It seems don’t have any abstract. It looks like someone written a journal in blog but it is interesting.

QQ only useful if you have friends in China, otherwise you won’t use it. It’s very commercial, much more so than other immediate message software but it does things that msn doesn’t do. It seems that MSN is more popular in business. QQ is popular in China as a chatting tool, but not in other foreign countries, so if you want to make friends with Chinese people, that must be a wise choice anyway, if not, MSN will be better than that.

It is really good. Think about the biggest IM Company in the world and you never knew. You probably heard about MSN Skype ICQ and Yahoo messenger. But you even knew about QQ which is very weird.
QQ is most popular in China. Most Chinese people will choose QQ as their first choice for chat, as most people have a QQ number.

At least I believe that. I have read many pages before read this article. And I had used QQ for years. Indeed, QQ is more widely used in China. I’d like to say MSN is more popular now in China, especially for people in work; Maybe students are more likely to use QQ
- 7. What form of research approach did the researchers follow and do you think this was a useful approach?
It seems author comparing data and findings and it looks like author talks about him own experience and he just have a few sentence compare QQ and MSN but it is useful. He found out something it’s come from real life not only a theory and it is true. I lived in china for 20 years, and it looks like it really happen. The author tell us how popular QQ in china. In my 20 years life I haven’t see anyone who comes from china and younger than 30 years old didn’t have QQ account.

In China QQ is culture. It is not only an immediate message software .It could be a car, a tea even a word which mean cool. QQ have lots of program it seems not good. If you live in china or want to make friends with Chinese people you probably can’t give it up because almost everybody uses it. QQ has seen its number of users, including overseas Chinese and foreigners, grow in recent years.
