1. Who is the paper written by and do they seem credible to you?

  This is paper is write by Sean Leow.  It seems credible to me because I had already use QQ for many years and I know about it.


2. How do you know it’s an academic article?

It seems like an academic article because it plus another website which is have trusted information.

 

3. What is the title and what does the title tell you?

 

The title is “QQ, China’s Largest Social Networking Site, Raking in the Dough”. It tells me which china’s largest social networking site is and how was it?

 

4.  Does the abstract tell you what it should?

 The article doesn’t have abstract. It just a short article but it is very clear.


5. How many references do they have? Are there any that look useful?

 The article only has one reference.  It’s really useful.

 

6. Where do you decide to stop and why?

 I didn’t stop because it is not a long article and I like it.

I knew something after reading. Such as which is running QQ how many active users does it have and how influential it is.

 After reading I know how QQ running like does. What different between QQ and the other chat software such as MSN/ICQ.

Yes. They are very interesting for me.

QQ is big and influential. It has 300 million active users and More than 50% user in china. QQ is in a favorable position to capture chinese market.
